I periodically report spam using IronPort's Spam Cop site and, in the process, have a look at the spammer's web hosting provider, domain name register, and domain name management. And the same names keep popping up day after day:

• Go Daddy - GoDaddy.com
• Name Cheap - NameCheap.com

DNS

• Nerdie Networks - EditDNS.net

So clearly somebody's making money from the spam flood that is crashing mail servers and flooding inboxes.
